Noreen Ann Borg (Spisz), 65, passed away peacefully on February 22, 2026. She was born on April 7, 1960, in Detroit, Michigan, and was raised in Brighton, Michigan before eventually making Texas her home. Noreen was a woman of deep and abiding faith. Raised in the Catholic Church, she leaned on her faith most in life’s hardest moments, finding strength, comfort, and hope through her relationship with God. She dedicated over 20 years of her career to Intermarine, where she not only excelled in her work but built lasting friendships with her beloved work family. Noreen had a vibrant spirit and loved spending time with friends and family, always ready to go out, laugh, and enjoy life to the fullest. Her laugh was truly contagious and brought joy to everyone around her.
Above all, Noreen was a devoted and loving mother. She was her daughters’ biggest supporter, always encouraging Amanda and Sarah in everything they pursued. While she was just eight days away from meeting her granddaughter, Ellie, her love for her was already so deep. Ellie will carry forward her strength and spirit in the years to come. Noreen also expressed her love through the little things that became unforgettable traditions—especially her homemade Christmas butter cookies and her comforting chicken and dumplings, which brought warmth and joy to all who gathered around her table. She also took great joy in sharing and celebrating her Polish roots with those around her. In 2019, Noreen was diagnosed with stage 4 peritoneal cancer. She faced her diagnosis with unwavering determination, courageously pursuing every treatment available. Even as her health declined following immunotherapy in 2025, her strength never wavered. She continued to fight, to hope, and to show resilience in ways that inspired everyone around her. She is survived by her loving daughters, Amanda Borg and Sarah Borg; her granddaughter, Ellie; her brothers, Michael Spisz and his wife June, Henry Spisz, Gary Spisz, and Tom Spisz and his wife Tonya; and many extended family members and dear friends. She is reunited in heaven with her parents, Gertrude Spisz and Henry Spisz; her sibling Sue Jenson and her husband Jan Jenson; and her sisters-in-law Stevie Spisz and Vicki Spisz. Noreen will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her fierce strength, her joyful spirit, and the deep love she had for her family and friends. Her legacy lives on in the lives she touched, the love she gave, and the faith she carried so beautifully.

Michael was the kind of man who made life brighter — and a whole lot funnier — just by being in the room. A devoted husband to his wife Susan, loyal friend, proud Houstonian, and natural jokester, he had a gift for making people laugh when they needed it most. His humor was quick, his smile was contagious, and his presence unforgettable. He was a generous man and would give anything/everything he had to help out family or friends. He loved his family and loved living life to the fullest. A lifelong fan of the Houston Astros, Michael rarely missed a game. Whether celebrating a big win or playfully arguing over a tough loss, he cheered with passion and loyalty. Game days with Michael meant commentary that was half sports analysis and half stand-up comedy. He made every inning more entertaining. Michael also had a special talent behind the smoker. He was known for his briskets — slow-smoked to perfection, seasoned just right, and made with patience and pride. The smell of his cooking meant family was gathering, stories were about to be told, and laughter would soon follow. His food brought people together, but it was his humor that kept them lingering around the table. He loved deeply and showed it in the simplest ways — by showing up, by checking in, by teasing you one minute and encouraging you the next. His jokes lightened heavy days, and his kindness steadied difficult ones. Though our hearts are heavy, we will remember Michael with smiles as often as tears. We’ll hear him in the laughter at backyard barbecues, see him in every Astros game, and feel him in the warmth of family gathered close. He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and perfectly smoked brisket.
Michael will be deeply missed, fiercely loved, and forever remembered. Michael is survived by his wife, Susan, their children, Jessica (Cole), Jordan, James, Trevor and Stefany (Richard), and numerous grandchildren, his mother, Esperanza (Hope), his siblings, Daniel (Leticia), Barbara (Joe), Katherine (Brandon). Preceded in death by his father Mike Enriquez. 

Born: June 24, 1941 / Deceased: January 12, 2026

Born and raised in Iowa, Don married his high school sweetheart, Jane, and was married 64 years. In Iowa, he worked at John Deere, farmed, and raised livestock. When he retired, he moved to Texas for his family but would often threaten to move back to Iowa (calling it God’s country).

In Texas, Don started a plant nursery with Jane and ran it for 10 years. In retirement, you’d find him going daily to the ranch, often with grandkids in tow. Don loved his family and was an involved grandfather and great-grandfather who never missed a game or recital.

Everyone who met him loved him and his sense of humor; at the same time, he was not afraid to voice his opinion (especially when it came to chicken!) Don refused to eat chicken, unless it was Kentucky Fried or Morris Inn.

He enjoyed the snowmobile, playing cards (especially cribbage), and watching sports in his recliner (especially the Rockets and Astros), and anyone who knew Don well, knew he always loved buying and driving a new car.
