Mike Stakes

Before joining Christ the Good Shepherd, I spent 20 years in the investment brokerage and investment banking industry. I hold a Bachelor of Business Administration in Finance from the University of Houston’s Bauer College of Business.
As Business Manager, I oversee the administrative, financial, and operational aspects of the parish. My areas of responsibilities include the preparation financial reports, managing payroll, overseeing the annual budget, supervising the parish staff’s non-ministerial functions, maintaining parish facilities, and supporting stewardship efforts. 
My wife and I have been married for 36 years. We have three adult children and three grandchildren, and we've been parishioners at Christ the Good Shepherd since June 2000.
