Emily Hearne

Emily Hearne assists with the Communications at Christ the Good Shepherd and is the Director of the CGS Children’s Choir. She was born and raised at Christ the Good Shepherd and has been an active member from an early age. 

She was a member of the CGS Children’s Choir as a child, Youth Choir as a teen, and Adult Choir/Cantor as an adult. Emily was employed as the Children’s Choir Director in the Fall of 2016. She is passionate about serving the families of CGS and finds great joy in igniting a love of ministry across all ages. 

A third-generation member of the parish, she calls CGS her church home with her husband, Jeremy Hearne, and their son, Peter. When she’s not at the church, you can find her watching a movie, grabbing a coffee, or enjoying a meal with her family.
