I’m originally from Southern California. My wife and I have been married for 21 years. My undergraduate education was Chemical Engineering, but I have also completed a BS in Philosophy, MS in Education, EdD in Education, MS in Theology, as well as certification in classical Humanities. I was ordained a Deacon in 2019 for this diocese. I have served at both St Anthony of Padua Catholic Church and Christ the Good Shepherd. It is a great blessing to be able to serve this community.
My responsibilities include:
1. Communications: Promotion of events on social media, updates to the website, preparing regular newsletters and communications via Flocknote.
2. Pastoral Associate: This includes caring for the sick of our parish, particularly regarding communion to homebound parishioners or those who may be hospitalized; planning of funerals and ministering to families that are grieving the loss of a relative or friend. I often perform house blessings for families that request it. I have just begun working with the Veterans' Ministry. I am also involved with the Movimiento Familiar.
