This program features biblical, Christ-centered teaching that focuses on grief topics associated with the death of a loved one. Our DVD presentations feature nationally respected grief experts and real-life stories of people, followed by a small group discussion about what was viewed.
Many bereft find they are only beginning the work of healing after friends and family have returned to their daily life routines. As they search for a sense of normalcy they have a tendency to try to put their grief aside or are so overwhelmed with it they are not able to work through it allowing their grief to do the God-given work for which it was intended.
Your bereavement experience may be recent or not so recent. You will find encouragement, comfort, and help in grieving the death of a spouse, child, parent, sibling, other family memeber, or friend. No matter what the cause of your loved one’s death, this is an opportunity to be around people who understand what you are feeling. You will learn how to recognize the signs of being stuck in grief and that you need not live in bondage to certain emotions. You will learn valuable information about facing your new life and renewing your hope for the future. We know it hurts and we want to help. GriefShare truly is a journey from mourning to joy.
