CGS FAMILY Guide "Quick Start"

Each Domestic Church (your household) has a choice of these two options. 

• Week 1: Pray the Our Father or any prayer for the week out loud together each day. 
• Week 2: Pray the same prayer each day. Also, read Scripture aloud, then pray together as a family. (Scripture readings are included in the CGS FAMILY Guide). Daily readings can also be found at www.bible.usccb.org
• Week 3: Pray your weekly prayer each day. Also, read Scripture aloud, share your thoughts about what was read, then pray together as a family.
• Week 4: Pray your weekly prayer each day. Also, read Scripture aloud, share your thoughts about what was read. Discuss how you can put what you have read into action, do a family activity, then pray together as a family.
• Week 5: Pray your weekly prayer each day. Also, read Scripture aloud, share your thoughts about what was read. Discuss how you can put what you have read into action, do a family activity, then pray together as a family.

This Guide can be as simple or as in depth as you want. You can do the Prayer section alone as your activity of the week. To go deeper, follow the steps as shown. Use as many or as few activities as you want. You can even spread them over the span of the entire week. Adapt to your situation and your household. There is no wrong way to do this!
