Dear New Parishioner,
On behalf of all the families that
make up Christ the Good Shepherd Catholic Community (CGS), we would like to
extend to you a warm and joyful welcome to our parish.
Here
at CGS, we like to look upon ourselves as a family -- children of the one Father
who share His life together as we work through the joys and struggles, the
sharing and receiving, the dying and rising of our lives. Because we are a
family, we rejoice and give thanks whenever our Heavenly Father gives us new
brothers and sisters to share our journey in the Kingdom.
Because
we are a large and growing family of over 3000 households, it may be easy to see
yourself as one more census card. We want you to know that our priority
here is caring for one another and the beautiful God who has brought us
together. If there is anyway your new parish family can be of help to you,
please don't hesitate to call. We are here for you.
Your
special gifts have been given to us as another way our Father says, "I love
you" to the whole parish community. Your presence at Liturgy is also
important and a blessing to us all. As you get settled, remember that we
urge you to share your time, talents, and treasure along with your ideas and
suggestions. Let us help one another in the challenging task of being the
Body of Christ.

Bienvenidos nuevos miembros y visitantes a
nuestras familia parroquial.

Queridos Nuevos Feligreses,
En
nombre de todas las familias que integramos la Comunidad Católica de Christ
the Good Shepherd Catholic
Community (CGS), les damos nuestra mas cordial y calurosa bienvenida a nuestra parroquia!
Aquí
en CGS, nos gusta vernos como una gran familia, hijos de un Padre que
compartió Su vida con nosotros, ya que juntos trabajamos a través de las
alegrías y de los sufrimientos, compartiendo y recibiendo el nacer y el
ocaso de nuestras vidas. Porque somos una gran familia, nos regocijamos y damos
gracias a nuestro Padre Celestial, cada vez que nos trae nuevos hermanos y
hermanas
para compartir nuestro viaje al Reino Eterno.
Dado
que somos una gran familia de más de 2800 hogares y que continúa
creciendo, podría parecer que Ustedes se vieran como una cuenta más en
nuestros registros. Pero no es así, queremos que sepan que nuestra
prioridad en Christ the Good Shepherd, es el cuidado y el cariño que nos
profesamos unos a otros, y el amor que expresamos por el hermoso Dios que
nos ha puesto juntos. Si hay alguna forma que la nueva familia parroquial
lo pueda ayuday, por favor no dude en llamarnos. Nosotros estamos aquí
para Ustedes.
Sus dones especiales los hemos recibido
como una forma mas de expresaer lo que nuestro Padre nos dice, que "nos
quiere mucho a todos" a través de toda la comunidad. Vuestra
presencia durante la Liturgia, es también muy importante y una bendición
para todos.
Una vez establecidos, recuerden que les
pedimos que compartan sus tiempos, sus talentos y sus tesoros, junto con
sus propuestas y sugerencias. Ayudémonos unos a otros en este gran
desafió que significa pertencer al Cuerpo de Cristo.
