Students will be prepared for the sacrament of Reconciliation before entering the preparation of Eucharist, but, within same school year.
Reconciliation Prep-classes are offered only in the fall. Eucharist Prep-classes are offered only in the spring.
Sacrament Preparation is designed to cooperate with Faith Formation Program by meeting at the same time each week.
Enrollment in the Sacramental Preparation Program is available for:
- Baptized Catholic students. If student is baptized under another denomination please call Cami Chedester at 281-376-6831 ext. 342.
- Students entering in 6th school grade and up 8th school grade. If your student is entering 9th grade or higher please call Cami Chedester at 281-376-6831 ext. 342.
- Student will have completed Faith Formation classes in the year prior to this school year. If from another church, a letter saying this year has been completed satisfactory is needed. If your student is currently enrolled in Catholic School talk to Yeimy Lara.
- Students in Sacramental Program will be enrolled in the current school year of Faith Formation (same time frame as sacrament preparation).
- Student will be actively participating in the Sunday celebration of Mass.
Parent(s):
- Recognize you are the primary educators of the faith for your student.
- If student was not Baptized at Christ the Good Shepherd parents must summit a copy of Catholic Baptismal Certificate by February 1st , 2011.

- Celebration of 1st Eucharist will be during the Weekend of May 7, 2011 or May 8, 2011.
- Assure that student will complete his/her required homework
- Attend ALL Parent Meetings
- Pay a Materials/ Resource Fee per student.
- Enable student to experience God’s grace trough these program activities such as:
+ Attending all student classes.
+ Attend Sacrament Preparation Day of Formation (Fall)
+ Attend Family Day of Reflection with student. (Spring)
