Faith Formation Program

This Faith Formation Program is designed with specific theological topics to assist Junior Higher’s in growing more knowledgeable about their Catholic Faith. It presents the doctrine of the Catholic Church, sourced by the “Catechism of the Catholic Church”, and is firmly grounded in Scripture and Tradition.

Sessions meet:      Sundays, 5:30 – 6:45pm
                            Sep/Oct through April/May
                            Registration required - Family Orientation/Registration held in August
                            Check bulletin and/or website for exact date of Orientation/Registration

Youth Group

A Mentor/Peer Ministry group which explores topics of interest to this age group, using guided discussion, community-building activities, food and fun. There are also social activities and service activities components.

Thursdays, 7pm – 9pm
All Junior High Youth of the parish are invited
No fee, No registration

Youth Week

A special week in the summer devoted to sports activities, community building activities, retreats, service, food and fun. Seven days of constant activities to which friends are invited and good times roll.

SAFE ENVIRONMENT PROGRAM - PROTECTING GOD'S CHILDREN

The Archdiocese of Galveston-Houston requires all volunteers 18 and older to attend a "Protecting God's Children" session. This training is mandated by the Archdiocese for adults who work with children on a regular ongoing basis. Registration is handled through www.virtus.org or if you need assistance please contact your coordinator/director.
